Every Institution has a volunteer appreciation event annually. One lovely feature of this event is an opportunity for each guest to pick a gift from tables of crafts and artwork that have been made by the inmates. I was honoured to attend several of these volunteer appreciation events and it was there that I chose this lovely sock monkey. I have\u00a0 named him Felonious Monk.<\/p><p>I originally intended to take Felonious on a trip across Canada to document his adventures re-entering Society. With the Covid pandemic upon us, we are not going cross-country touring these days.
